Feather & Flock is a small, volunteer-run meetup group, and this page explains in plain terms what happens to information you share through this website.

What we collect

The only information this site actively collects is what you submit through the contact form: your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message field. We don't require an account, and we don't collect information automatically from visitors beyond what our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs by default for any website, such as basic request and security logs.

How we use it

Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your message. We don't sell, rent, or share this information with third parties, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you separately ask to be added to one.

Photos

Photos that appear on this site are shared by members with their permission. If you'd like a photo of you, your bird, or your home removed, contact us through the contact page and we'll take it down.

Third-party services

The contact form on this site is processed by Formspree, and our Facebook group is operated by Meta. Both have their own privacy policies governing information you submit directly to them, which we'd encourage you to review separately.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle information changes, we'll update this page and adjust the date above.

Questions

Reach out through the contact page with any privacy questions.

This is a plain-language policy written for a small hobby group and isn't legal advice. If your group grows, starts collecting more information, or you want certainty about compliance with laws like the CCPA, it's worth having this reviewed by a lawyer.
