Common questions
Do I need a bird to come to a meetup?
Not at all. Plenty of regulars come without a bird, including people who are just starting to think about getting one.
Is it free?
Yes, meetups are free. Potlucks just ask that you bring a dish to share if you're able to.
My bird isn't harness trained — can I still bring them?
For most meetups, yes — a secure travel cage is fine. A few outdoor events are harness-only, and those are marked clearly on the events page.
Do you help with rehoming or adoptions?
We're not a rescue or adoption service, but members often know good local resources — ask in the Facebook group and someone will usually point you in the right direction.
